"All of our experiences, whether ours or another, affect who we are and lead us not only to ask the questions of life, but to find the answers as well."

Meagan O'Nan: Life Coach
Fear Is A Choice

We all deal with rational and irrational fears. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of death. Whatever it is that you are afraid of, be it mysterious or mundane, it is holding you back from your true potential.

"Breaking free is a matter of choice, a matter of allowing yourself to go to the highest peak and feel The Breathe, of All That Is, moving through you," explains Meagan O’Nan, author of 'Creating Your Heaven on Earth', "My message is simple. Listen to your heart."

"Is your heart leading you, or is it your ego, your fears?" asks O'Nan. "A perfectly aware and conscious individual once told me that thoughts are like an icy wind. The truth is that our fears keep us from our heart. Our thoughts glide through our bodies maneuvering us to a place where we struggle, we question, and we neglect what is already perfect."

"Now is the moment to stop being the victim, "encourages O'Nan, "and to claim victory through the joy of what is in front of you. Remember, no one can give you peace but yourself."

Meagan O'Nan, founder of The O'Nan Project for Change and author of the award-winning book, "Creating Your Heaven on Earth," established The O'Nan Project for Change to inspire young people to believe in themselves and their ability to achieve their dreams. Both a personal life coach and inspirational speaker, Meagan’s own life story is a testament to the changes that can occur when we believe in ourselves and the positive impact those changes can have on others as a result.

A product of the Mississippi school system herself, Meagan established The O'Nan Project for Change as a way to both give back and "pay forward" some of her own life lessons and personal wisdom she has gained along the way. Her love for youth has been fostered by her personal coaching business with teenagers and athletes and arose partly out of her own extensive personal involvement in sports in high school and beyond.

Meagan holds masters degrees from both Mississippi State University and Florida State University in the fields of disability and counseling. She is a professional life coach and has received numerous awards on both the local and national levels for her athletic achievements. Her first book, "Creating Your Heaven on Earth," won the 2009 Silver Medal "Living Now" Book Award, and she has just finished writing her second book, "It Is What It Is." Meagan currently divides her time between her childhood home town of Starkville, MS, and her present home in Fort Collins, Colorado.
