THE POWER OF VULNERABLE STORYTELLING

We all have stories to tell, stories that are waiting to be told. In this keynote, Meagan talks about the power of vulnerable storytelling as a way to connect with others in a deeper way, to generate healing in our communities/work culture, and as a way to advocate for wider representation and acceptance.

Meagan shares her own stories about how vulnerable storytelling has changed her life and brought her wholeness as an openly gay woman from and who lives in Mississippi. As a result of her experiences, Meagan has created a vulnerable storytelling method that guides people towards sharing their own stories in profound and effective ways whether the intent is to share with one person or many. The great Maya Angelou said it best, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you."

Audience members will learn:

*The importance of sharing their stories and how to share their stories powerfully through Meagan's three step process

*How to write their own vulnerable stories using Meagan's unique storytelling method

*How to use storytelling to create change within ourselves and in our communities
